eQNerd™ Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current eQNerd iOS beta provided by ThumpStack Labs, LLC.

Microphone audio is processed on your device. eQNerd does not record, save, or transmit audio. Derived session measurements and exports remain local unless you deliberately export or share them.

Microphone access and use

eQNerd uses microphone input to calculate sound measurements on your device. The audio itself is not recorded, saved, or transmitted. Saved measurements are derived results, not audio recordings.

You control microphone permission in iOS. To revoke access, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn off eQNerd. Without microphone permission, eQNerd cannot measure live sound.

Data collection and connectivity

The current beta has no telemetry, tracking, or network-dependent functionality. It does not automatically send microphone audio or derived session measurements to ThumpStack Labs, LLC or to third parties.

Local storage, retention, and deletion

Derived session measurements and locally saved exports remain on your device unless you deliberately export or share them. ThumpStack Labs, LLC does not receive or retain a server copy of these local measurements through the app.

To remove the app and its locally stored app data, use iOS’s Delete App option. Offloading the app preserves its documents and data. Files you exported outside the app, copies you shared, and any device backups must be managed separately in the locations or services where they are held. We cannot remotely delete data that stays on your device or copies held by recipients you chose.

Exports and voluntary sharing

You decide whether to export or share derived measurements and where to send them. Review an export before sharing it. Once you send a file to another person, app, or service, that recipient’s privacy practices govern its handling of the copy.

Apple and TestFlight

This policy describes eQNerd’s own processing. Apple separately operates iOS, the App Store, and TestFlight. When you test through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with the developer; feedback you submit is also shared. This information may include your name and email address. This is separate from telemetry implemented in eQNerd. Support and privacy requests

For support or privacy questions, contact ThumpStack Labs, LLC at info@thumpstacklabs.com. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use your message to respond to your request. Please avoid sending recordings, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

You can use the same address to request access to or deletion of information you have sent directly to us, ask about its retention, or make a request concerning TestFlight information shared with us. Sending a support message is voluntary and separate from eQNerd’s on-device measurement processing.
